Diagnosis and Management of Heart Failure is a critical component of effective cardiac care. AUDICOR Technology combines the time-proven, classic concept of auscultation with the latest techniques for detecting, recording, documenting and analyzing the Heart Sounds associated with normal and abnormal cardiac function. Inovise has synchronized these unique hemodynamic recordings with standard ECG to generate reports to evaluate Heart Failure status prior to hospital discharge and correlate hemodynamic changes during multiple treatment options.
AUDICOR® AM, Ambulatory Monitor
2 in x 3 in x 3/4 in, 1.5 oz.
48 hour recording of beat-to-beat
information:
AUDICOR Technology is Now Available for ambulatory monitoring for arrhythmias, heart failure status and ischemia with the recent FDA clearance and CE marking of the AUDICOR AM. More than just an advanced Holter Monitor, it not only provides 48-hour ECG tracings but also continuous recording of the mechanical function of the heart.
The AUDICOR AM, building on the technology originally implemented for assessing the diagnosis, prognosis, and effective therapeutic result of heart failure and its treatment. The AUDICOR AM enhances trending of isolated recordings of the AUDICOR 200 and serial comparisons of "snapshots" acquired in the clinic by AUDICOR TS. With continuous 48-hour recordings of 3-lead ECG in conjunction with hemodynamic parameters derived from the classic heart sounds, AUDICOR AM represents a new standard of cardiac monitoring.
AUDICOR® 200
The most exciting use of Acoustic Cardiography is the integration of the technology into the devices of our strategic partners, such as transport monitors, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders, all of which are in varying states of development. To learn more about the future of AUDICOR Technology or the partners who have already recognized the value of product integration for a wide range of cardiac monitors see the Partners page of this website.
AUDICOR AM is the first wearable 48 hour acoustic cardiography recorder tailored for chronic assessment of heart failure and comorbidities.
AUDICOR 200 is the first non-invasive diagnostic technology to detect, interpret and document with high specificity (95%) the presence of a third heart sound by simultaneously evaluating the electrical and acoustical properties of the heart. This enables physicians and nurses to more accurately identify and rule-in heart failure in patients over age 40 who present with dyspnea helping to reduce the prevailing missed diagnosis rate for heart failure. Accurate HF diagnosis leads to earlier administration of definitive, appropriate therapy, shorter lengths-of-stay, reduced hospitalizations, reduced mortality, increased reimbursement and overall improved clinical outcomes for heart failure patients.
AUDICOR TS is the first portable acoustic cardiograph for the rapid, non-invasive measurement of hemodynamic function in the hospital or clinic setting. The system generates objective, intuitive parameters that correlate with established hemodynamic measures. These parameters can be displayed immediately and graphically trended over multiple time points. AUDICORĀ TS speed and ease of use help simplify complex procedures such as CRT device optimization. Workflow is streamlined; patient convenience and comfort are maximized. Low capital cost, inexpensive disposable sensors and minimal labor make AUDICORĀ TS more cost effective than alternative methods.
AUDICOR TS uses two dual-function sensors capable of simultaneously capturing the heart's electrical and sound characteristics and two electrocardiographic electrodes. The technology requires only a single channel of electrocardiography for timing purposes and several acoustic cardiography measurements.
