The latest advance in AUDICOR Technology has received both FDA clearance and CE certification. The new AUDICOR AM is now available for commercial distribution in both US and European Union.
The AUDICOR AM is an integrated Holter Monitor with the capacity to record and analyze 3 leads of ECG and simultaneous Acoustic channels for up to 48 hours.
As the first ambulatory monitor available to monitor rhythm and hemodynamic changes through heart sounds and ischemia, AUDICOR AM marks an exciting new era of Heart Failure Management. "The AUDICOR AM is just the first product to incorporate Acoustic Cardiography into ambulatory and home monitors. We are working very rapidly to expand the capabilities of this product line, as well as integrate AUDICOR Technology into the products of several existing and yet to be announced international strategic partners", said Peter Bauer, President of Inovise Medical.
Inovise Medical's CEO was invited to present to the Chamber of Commerce of India and the Indian government as part of an effort to identify low cost, easy to use, diagnostic methods to establish preventive healthcare in India.
Inovise's elegant means of integrating the classic principles of auscultation with simultaneous recording of standard ECG tracings to diagnose and monitor cardiac status is gaining interest in both the clinical and commercial circles in India.
Peter Bauer, CEO at Inovise Medical, announced that they have received FDA clearance for a new generation of Acoustic Cardiography sensors. The Sensor 4.0 is a smaller, lighter, more stable sensor for recording simultaneous ECG and Heart Sounds signals. This new technology opens the door for the application of AUDICOR Technology for both ambulatory and home monitoring systems. Dr. Bauer explained, "we anticipate this important development to expedite the expansion of our technology to record and analyze multiple physiologic signals to cost-effectively diagnose and report the patients' status of Heart Failure and its co-morbidities."
